Gammon, Justin. "Workout Exercise." GIPHY. http://gph.is/1gWKwsR
This week I worked on managing my wellness planner, trying to write in it more and be mindful of my movement.
I learned that following individuals who were liked minded in terms of fitness and healthy active living helped motivate and encourage me.
Some celebrities/ influencers that birghtened my day!
Watkins, Katie. "Website Header." Confidentially Katie. https://www.confidentiallykatie.com/
- She is body positive
- She motivates me with a busy schedule, being a mom and having to balance it all
- She promotes a balanced way of living
W, Blair. "Eating like KPOP, Blackpink Lisa in Korea Thumbnail". Walnuts, Blair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDWOMfeJCcA&ab_channel=blairwalnuts
She's a hoot because:
- She provides comedic relief for all those struggling with fad diets, information overlead and sensory overload on the Internet
- She provides new perspectives about insane fad diets, and why they aren't a great idea
- Who doesn't want to see some crazy celebrity routines?
This week was HARD!
- I was visiting my mom and struggled with emotional eating
- I was feeling quite fatigued and tired with school and work
Before the next Genius Hour I want to a) meal prep and b) schedule movement breaks into my phone to remind myself to take breaks
Some questions that I want to ask are: Will sharing my journey help me create a support network that will assist and help my goals? I will find my answers by speaking to my mom and setting goals with her realted to fitness and food.
My next steps:
- Schedule movement alarms on my phone
- Meal prep for the week
- Speak to my mom and set goals
- Workout on the weekend and utilize my standing desk
